KACV-TV Radio Campaign
This humorous campaign for the public television affiliate in Amarillo, Texas, pokes fun at the
long-standing perception that public television is boring TV for boring people. It's been very well received and even won
Best of Show in the American Advertising Federation of Amarillo's American Advertising Awards (the ADDYs). Click on the players below to listen. (Thanks to Soundscapes for the excellent talent, music and editing!)
I wrote and produced the following radio spots for Amarillo College's adult education classes. Like Hinds Community College, Amarillo has a great willingness to inject humor into their advertising. The spots turned out pretty good! Click on the players below to give a listen.
The following radio campaign ran concurrently with a TV campaign, and won a Best of Show ADDY as well as many other awards. Click on the players below to listen. HCC "Dedicated to Mr. K" Radio :60
The following radio spots were produced for Hinds throughout the years. All were award-winners (and deemed very effective) at one time or another. Each was designed to hit one specific benefit of going to Hinds. Click on the players below to listen.
This fun radio campaign I wrote and produced for Baptist Medical Clinics takes some humorous situations to remind people that Baptist is "Better at helping them get better." Click on the players below to listen.
KLLM is a trucking company who needed more drivers. I wrote and produced the following radio spots as part of their driver recruitment campaign. Good solid spots with a touch of humor. Click on the players below to listen.
Comcast does pretty good TV, but they do terrible radio. When I got the opportunity to produce a spot for them, I wanted to change that. This spot leveraged their then popular and effective "Comcastic" campaign to pretty good effect. Give it a listen. It's pretty Comcasterrific. (Even with a full 12 seconds of disclaimers! Only from Comcast.)
[Gotta give a tip o' the hat(s) to my friends at Soundscapes who consistently provide the talent, music and editing that really bring my radio spots to life.]
